Hoshiarpur people · Science, literature & art

A district’s cultural history is also the story of its scientists, historians, poets
and artists. The people below connect Hoshiarpur with research laboratories, archives,
Urdu and Punjabi literature, and modern sculpture. Some later lived elsewhere or
crossed borders after Partition; their local origins remain part of a shared regional
heritage.
