A personal food experience by Raman K. Sahdev
I ordered the South Indian platter at Chennai Maratha in Hoshiarpur, and my experience was a very good one. I really enjoyed the taste, and I was pleased with the service too. Those are the two things I would highlight about my visit.

The platter I tried
My photograph shows a cone-shaped dosa at the centre of a large steel platter, surrounded by smaller items and bowls of accompaniments. It captures the variety served together in the meal I ordered.
For me, the main highlight was the taste. The good service added to the experience and left me with a positive impression of this Hoshiarpur food stop.
South Indian and Maharashtrian choices
The restaurant describes its offering as “Flavours of South India & Maharashtra.” The menu I photographed lists dosa, idli and vada, uttapam, appe, rice dishes, South Indian thali and the South Indian platter. It also lists choices such as poha, vada pav, misal pav and pav bhaji, along with filter coffee and desserts.
My comments here are about the platter I ordered and the service I experienced; I have not reviewed every item on the menu.
